Our General English courses are for all levels and have no minimum entry requirements. They are an ideal way to develop your fluency, accuracy and confidence to use English effectively in everyday "real life" situations including travel, work, shopping and study.
The courses focus on spoken English, pronunciation, listening, reading and writing. You will be assessed on an on-going basis in all these skills.Pathways to further study
Bayside College has pathway arrangements with many TAFE and private Colleges in Melbourne. The TAFEs include Holmesglen Institute of TAFE, NMIT, William Angliss Institute and MIBT. Students can gain direct entry into these TAFEs and other Colleges from Bayside, without sitting any further English tests.
